For the first time since the world premiere in 1998, Anders Eliasson‘s magnum opus Dante Anarca will be performed in Stockholm.

“A future classic”, says conductor Sakari Oramo.
“Dante Anarca and his Six Masters – as the full title reads – is Anders Eliasson’s crowning achievement. It demonstrates all the musical richness of the mature Eliasson, whilst at the same time anticipating the lyrical mastery of his later work.” (Stockholm Concert Hall)

Sakari Oramo will lead the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir in two performances at the Stockholm Concert Hall on 10 and 12 March.
Solists will be soprano Inela Brimberg, alto Anna Larsson, tenor Michael Weinius and baritone Gabriel Suovanen.
